This course is designed for individuals who are interested in a teaching career.

In this qualification students will learn how to prepare, plan and deliver courses.  In order to complete this course students are required to deliver micro-teaching sessions which assist in developing evaluation skills and techniques alongside teaching.  The course can be completed by students who have little or no experience in teaching and will enable you to work in a teaching role.

This course covers the following units:

  • Understanding roles, responsibilities and the relationships in education & training (assignment based)
  • Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training (micro-teach)
  • Understanding assessment in education & training (assignment based)

Entry Requirements: Good level of English. You must also possess a qualification and have practical experience of the subject area you will be assessing.

Qualification Requirements: Students will be required to produce written evidence and carry out a micro-teach session which demonstrates competency in teaching role to successfully complete the qualification.

Upon successful completion of the course you will be able receive a VTCT Level 3 Award in Education & Training.
