Course Overview
The VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser & IPL is an Ofqual regulated qualification for practitioners seeking to progress to Level 4 and deliver laser and intense pulsed light treatments safely, effectively, and in line with current professional standards.
This course provides the essential theoretical knowledge and practical competence required to carry out laser and IPL hair removal and skin treatments, supported by comprehensive training in health and safety, client care, and professional practice.

Who This Course Is For
This course is suitable for practitioners who wish to:
• Progress to a regulated Level 4 laser and IPL qualification
• Offer insured laser and IPL treatments within a professional aesthetic practice
• Develop confidence and competence in advanced light-based technologies
Entry Requirements
Learners must hold a nationally recognised Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or a Level 3 skills-based qualification such as the Level 3 in Facial Electrotherapy or the VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetics. Learners must also demonstrate a good level of written and spoken English.
Course Delivery and Assessment
The course includes practical and assessment days delivered at our training centre, alongside coursework completed independently. Learners may be required to attend additional practical or assessment sessions depending on model availability and individual competency development.
There are no formal examinations. Assessment consists of practical assessments and coursework, which are included within the course fee. Additional attendance or assessment submissions may incur charges in line with our terms and conditions.
Certification
This is an Ofqual regulated qualification awarded by VTCT upon successful completion.
Fees and Payment
Course Fee: £1,350. A non-refundable booking fee of £270 is required to secure a place on the course. The remaining balance must be paid prior to the course start date. Full payment terms are provided at the point of enrolment.

Learners are advised to confirm insurance requirements prior to enrolling. We work with a range of insurance providers, and learners may wish to contact Westminster Insurance or Insync for further guidance.
