Ofqual-Regulated Qualifications
SkinAstute launched as a specialist laser clinic in 2008, delivering advanced skin rejuvenation treatments. In 2016 the business expanded into professional training and became approved to deliver Ofqual regulated qualifications awarded by VTCT and ProQual. Our original Level 4 provision focused specifically on Laser and IPL treatments, providing a permanent, nationally recognised route for learners entering aesthetic practice. Since then, SkinAstute has continued to evolve and is now approved to deliver regulated qualifications from Level 2 through to Level 7, awarded by VTCT, ProQual and Focus Awards.
Practitioner-Led Delivery
All training is delivered by highly experienced aesthetic practitioners who have been performing advanced skin treatments since 2008. Over the years we have supported a wide range of learners, from complete beginners to established industry professionals, including celebrity facialists. Our tutors hold formal teaching and assessing qualifications, and qualified IQA professionals support the assessment process. The centre lead is a registered nurse, bringing clinical knowledge and governance into the academy, ensuring every learner is guided safely through structured, quality assured courses.
