The ProQual Diploma in Beauty Therapy treatments has been developed for individuals with no previous experience or qualifications who wish to progress on to Level 4+ with ProQual.

This course consists of five mandatory units which include:

  • Understand health and safety in a salon environment
  • Client care and consultation in a salon environment
  • Facial treatments
  • Facial electrical treatments
    • Superficial chemical peel treatment
    • Radio frequency treatment
    • Cavitation treatment
    • Ultrasonic treatment
    • LED light therapy treatment
  • Body electrical treatments
    • Cavitation treatment
    • Radio frequency treatment
    • Vacuum suction treatment

Students can further develop their knowledge and skills by completing supplementary specialist ProQual qualifications at level 4 or 5.

Description

Course Fee: £2350

Registration Fee: The registration fee is included in the course fee; however, it can expire according to our terms and conditions.

Exam Fee: There are no exams for this course. This is a theory and practical skills based course which requires students to produce written assignments and pass practical assessments. The course price includes two assignment submissions. For charges relating to additional assignment submissions please refer to our terms and conditions.

Equipment: Students do not require any equipment to be complete this course. All equipment is available at the centre.

Booking Fee: A non-refundable booking fee of £350 is required to confirm your place on the course.  The remaining amount can be paid as a single payment or in four interest free instalments at four week intervals. Please read our terms and conditions prior to course enrolment.

Entry Requirements: There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, students must possess a good standard of written and spoken English.

Qualification Requirements: Once enrolled, students are provided access to our online learning portal with access to theory and reading materials supported by remote tutorials and attendance days at the centre.

Certification: This is an OFQUAL regulated course; the awarding body is ProQual.

Progression: Successful completion of this course will allow students to study additional qualifications from ProQual’s hair and beauty suite; particularly the ProQual Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice and Skin Science or one of the Level 4/5 Certificates in various aesthetic treatments.

Insurance: We work with a range of insurance companies who our students can obtain insurance from. We advise students to check insurance cover prior to booking any course with us. You may wish to contact Westminster Insurance or Insync for a quote.

Enrolment is open throughout the year, allowing students to join at any time. Most courses include Zoom sessions delivered ahead of the practical training days, which run on a rolling schedule.
