The qualification covers the following areas in line with the First Aid at Work Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, Guidance on Regulations (L74) Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines:

  • Assessing emergency situations
  • Provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
  • Provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
  • Provide first aid to a casualty with anaphylaxis

Through this qualification the learner will develop the knowledge and practical competences required to deal with an adult who is unresponsive or experiencing an anaphylactic reaction.

Description

Course Fee: £195

Registration Fee: The registration fee is included in the course fee; however, it can expire according to our terms and conditions.

Exam Fee: The course price includes half day attendance for the course and two assignment submissions. Please refer to our terms and conditions.

Entry Requirements: There are no formal prerequisite qualifications required prior to undertaking this qualification.

Qualification Requirements: To successfully complete this course students must pass summative practical assessment, and pass written assignments. This course is marked as a pass or fail. This certificate is valid for three years from the date of issue. Students must retake this qualification prior to the certification expiry date to remain qualified.

Enrolment is open throughout the year, allowing students to join at any time. Most courses include Zoom sessions delivered ahead of the practical training days, which run on a rolling schedule.
