The Level 4 Certificate in Skin Treatment Using Laser, IPL and High Energy LED Devices covers the following mandatory units:

Mandatory units:

  • Health and Safety in a Salon Environment
  • Infection control and prevention for cosmetic, aesthetic and needle related treatments
  • Providing Initial Consultation with Client

Optional units (students can complete one or more from the following):

  • Principles and Practice of Photo Rejuvenation Treatments
  • Principles and Practice of Hair Growth Reduction

Practical sessions take place at our centre in Bedfordshire.

Description

Course Fee: £1395

Registration Fee: The registration fee is included in the course fee; however, registration can expire in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Exam Fee: There are no exams for this course. The course price includes practical assessments and two assignment submissions. For charges relating to additional assignment submissions please refer to our terms and conditions.

Booking Fee: A non-refundable booking fee of £295 is required to confirm your place on the course.  The remaining amount can be paid as a single payment or in 3 or 4 interest free instalments at four week intervals. Please read our terms and conditions prior to course enrolment.

Entry Requirements: Students wanting to complete this qualification must hold an ProQual Level 3 Certificate
in Pathway to Aesthetic Practice, or an equivalent qualification and must also have completed, or be registered to complete alongside this qualification, the ProQual Level 4 Award in Core Knowledge of Laser Safety.

Qualification Requirements: Once enrolled, students are provided tutorials, access to our online learning portal with access to theory and reading materials. To successfully complete the course, students must complete coursework and pass practical assessments.

Certification: This is an OFQUAL regulated course; the awarding body is ProQual.

Insurance: We work with a range of insurance companies who our students can obtain insurance from. We advise students to check insurance cover prior to booking any course with us. You may wish to contact Westminster Insurance or Insync for a quote.

Enrolment is open throughout the year, allowing students to join at any time. Most courses include Zoom sessions delivered ahead of the practical training days, which run on a rolling schedule.
