VTCT Skills Level 7 Certificate in Non-Surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures using Botulinum Toxin has been specifically developed for individuals who wish to specialise in administering botulinum toxin treatments to face and neck.  This qualification supports the evolving standards within the aesthetic industry and aligns with the movement towards greater regulation — ensuring that practitioner knowledge, client safety, and professional accountability are central to all non-medical aesthetic procedures.

To achieve this qualification, learners must successfully complete six mandatory units:

  • Principles and practices of administering botulinum toxin to face and neck (assessed via formative clinical case studies, summative clinical case studies, assignments on clinical scenarios and multiple-choice written exam)
  • Professionalism and ethical practice in non-surgical aesthetic injectable procedures (assessed via written assignments consisting of short answer questions)
  • Anatomy & physiology for aesthetic injectable procedures (assessed via multiple choice exam)
  • Managing complications, risks and sub-optimal results in non surgical aesthetic procedures (assessed via written assignments consisting of short answer questions and multiple choice exam)
  • Consultation protocols for non-surgical aesthetic injectable procedures (assessed via written assignments consisting of short answer questions and multiple choice exam)
  • Appearance, psychology and expectation management for non surgical aesthetic procedure (assessed via written assignments consisting of short answer questions)

Description

Course Fee: £2495

Registration Fee: The registration fee is included in the course fee; however, it can expire according to our terms and conditions.

Exam Fee: The course price includes dates provided upon course registration, one written exam attempt, two assignment submissions. For charges relating to additional written exam attempts, practical assessment days and assignment submissions please refer to our terms and conditions.

Equipment: Students have an option to purchase equipment and skincare from Dermedics UK.

Booking Fee: A non-refundable booking fee of £395 is required to confirm your place on the course.  The remaining amount can be paid as a single payment or in 6-9 interest free instalments at four week intervals. Please read our terms and conditions prior to course enrolment.

Entry Requirements: Students must hold the VTCT Skills Level 5 Certificate in Non-surgical Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation or equivalent. Students who wish to undertake this qualification must also hold a regulated Level 3 Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis.  Please contact us if you do not meet the entry requirements.

Qualification Requirements: Once enrolled, students are provided access to our online learning portal with access to theory and reading materials. Written assignments which can be completed in your own time around current family and work commitments. To successfully complete this course students must pass summative practical assessments, produce short answer responses as written assignments and pass a series of multiple choice written exams. This course is marked as a pass or fail.
