The Level 4 Certificate in Dermaplaning Treatments (RQF) has been developed as a result of the move towards regulating non-medical aesthetic therapies. The qualification covers the underpinning theory provide learners with the in-depth knowledge and skills required to provide Dermaplaning treatments safely. This course includes:

  • Level 4 Facial Anatomy & Physiology
    • Understanding facial anatomy & physiology
    • Understanding associated pathologies
    • Understanding skin disorders, injuries and conditions
  • Level 4 Award in Investigative Consultation and Advanced Skin Assessment
    • Understand advanced skin assessments and investigative consultations
    • Understand skin types and conditions
    • Be able to conduct a skin analysis and investigative consultation
  • Provide Dermaplaning Treatments

Students can further develop their knowledge and skills by completing specialist qualifications at level 4 in one or more of the following areas:

  • Skin Needling
  • Skin Peeling
  • Blemish Removal
  • Radio Frequency
  • Ultrasound

Exam Fee: The course price includes practice / assessment dates provided upon course registration and two assignment submissions. For charges relating to the additional practical / assessment days and assignment submissions please refer to our terms and conditions.

Equipment: Students can purchase Dermedics Dermaplaning Starter Kit with this course.

Booking Fee: A non-refundable booking fee of £195 is required to confirm your place on the course.  The remaining amount can be paid as a single payment or in four interest free instalments at four week intervals. Please read our terms and conditions prior to course enrolment.

Entry Requirements: Students must have a Level 2 in Facial Treatments with a good level of written and spoken English. Please contact us if you do not meet the entry requirements.

Qualification Requirements: This course is delivered through blended learning; students are required to complete written assignments and produce a portfolio of evidence and undertake practical assessments at one of our centres.

CPD to OFQUAL: For students wishing to convert their existing CPD or accredited Dermaplaning qualifications to CPD proof of training is required with 12+ months of experience. Attendance equivalent to one day at one of our centres is required for practical assessments.

Insurance: We work with a range of insurance companies who our students can obtain insurance from. We advise students to check insurance cover prior to booking any course with us. You may wish to contact Westminster Insurance or Insync for a quote.

Certification: This RQF qualification is certificated via Focus Awards, an OFQUAL Awarding Body.
